Thinking about the now.   Leave a comment

Most people I know go through life not really thinking about the life they are living or the consequences of their actions and behaviours. And from observance of the social and economic climate changes of the past three decades at last it is quite easy to see why. In the now infamous words of Philosopher M Scott Peck”. Life is hard.” And this is true.
Life is hard. But what have we meant by that phrase. Human interaction is hard. In fact the more people I meet the more I like my goldfish. This goes for people on all levels. Without exception, whether you are number one on the Forbes 500 list or whether you are a shack dweller or somewhere in between. The fact of the matter is my reading of history, and my experience of everyday life brings me to the conclusion that people never learn. We are doomed to repeat the mistakes of those who came before us. But that does not mean there is no plan on the contrary there is very much a plan. The world is at this very moment not governed by those who pursue to instill the values of the divine law, the moral decree or the fear of God. The world is driven by Socialism and socialism is no friend of order.
To quote but a few.. “…a concentration of world evil, of hatred for humanity is taking place and it is fully determined to destroy your society.”[1] “Communism: A Legacy of Terror” by the respected Russian author, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, 1976.
“The Social Sciences will concern themselves with the rationalization of social control… the control of human behavior.”[2] Rockefeller Foundation president Max Mason.
Is this an exaggeration ? I think recent history will show otherwise. People have been conditioned that they are an end in themselves. None more so than the kings and princes who serve the system of this world. The question has to be asked. Does anyone care anymore ? People care when they have an agenda. There are pitiful few who still do something out of the kindness of their heart. In fact the core teachers of the new socialism had this to say about the consequences of their actions.
In their correspondence Marx and Engels frequently said that after achieving power, terror would be indispensable, that “it will be necessary to repeat the year 1793. After achieving power, we’ll be considered monsters, but we couldn’t care less” (vol. 25, p. 187).
So there it is in a nutshell, but before you put this down and discard it as yet another conspiracy theory let us consider what is really at stake. The really issue here is that most have forsaken the very fibre of life. We have made God in our image, and instead of bowing down and worshipping the One true God who is forever to be worshipped and feared. The old lie told by.” the very devil himself is still believed and embraced as it was at first.
Genesis 3: 4″You will not surely die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.
There it is place as day. “You shall be as God” The lie that ruined paradise and sent countless souls to an eternity without God throughout the ages, and does anyone care?
Are we so wrapped up in secular affairs and our daily lives that we have forgotten we were created not for ourselves but for God’s pleasure. You are God’s by ownership first. That is a good business principle many will understand. If you own something to do with it as you please. This in a very great measure applies to God, Psalm 115 : 3 rightly says so too.
3 Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him.
Now I have worked for quite a varied number of people and a range of industries and vocational tasks. In the Manufacturing sector, the IT sector, The established church, the Newspaper industry and even did a stint or two without work, even then you have work to do, your job is then either to create work or find work.
My experience has been mostly that those who manage and lead, very often do so without any vision and even if they do have some kind of “vision statement” it is never plain. It is not held up as a directional map for the people to follow. This is a recipe for crisis and in crisis very often people are forced to accept compromise they would not have accepted before. Because mostly the agenda of socialism and the world’s system is to glorify man and not God we end up being poor specimen’s of what we were created to be. No man, women or child can live life this world with only reference to themselves. Yet many still try and usurp this very thing and the results are devastating..
The Age of Aquarius [synonymous with the New Age] is when we are all supposed to come to the understanding that man is God. As one New Age writer put it, “A major theme of Aquarius is that God is within. The goal in the Age of Aquarius will be how to bring this idea into meaningful reality.”1 Contrary to what many people think, the New Age did not die out in the 60s but was slowly but surely integrating into every facet of society – medicine, business, schools, science and religion. The last frontier for the New Age to conquer was the evangelical church, and it is with great sadness we see that it has finally achieved that victory. http://www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com/newagethinkaboutthat.htm
In very real simple terms the contrary to the Genesis command is in play and has been for as long as people have been around. The command was “ as given in Exodus 20.
And God spoke all these words:
2 “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
3 “You shall have no other gods before [a] me.
So it is right to say what is not God Glorifying is anti-christ. And this attitude is picked up in every sphere of life, social business , spiritual and even the way we conduct ourselves in this world. Everything is affected. Humanity has put herself on a par with her creator and bowed won to herself and we have come quite a long way too.
Our world is being radically re-shaped and over the years this transformation has been given a variety of labels: Global Governance, the New World Order, Internationalism, World Federalism, International Management, World Law, and Global Democracy have all been used to describe the political side of these phenomena.
In the realm of religion and society, phrases such as United Religions, Interfaithism, Religious Pluralism, Unity in Diversity, Global Citizenship, and International Solidarity express the global change of culture, thought, and faith.
Economics, too, has its lexicon of transformation: the New Economic Order, Monetary Unions, Global Free Trade, Regional Currency Areas, the International Monetary System, and a Single Global Currency all speak to the re-shuffling of economic might.Yet all of these phrases, and more, are wrapped up and represented in one word: globalization. But this has had a huge price tag, the day of the individual is over. Its the Big Corporates and the name brands that tell us what the bottom line is and the bottom line has all to do with figures and numbers and very little to do with compassion and mercy. The world and its system does not cherish the individual. What is promoted in a big way today is “community and that is not a bad thing, but it becomes a bad thing when the freedoms that have cherished for all ages are taken away and replaced with values and norm that fit the new created order the order of the Socialists and the new so called “community architects.
If you think about it a lot of it will make sense, what is in eccense happening is that we are trading hard fought freedoms for security. absolute behavior control which is imminent it is the next logical step in the evolution of society. The critical point of behaviour control, in effect, is sneaking up on mankind without his self-conscious realization that a crisis is at hand. Man will… never self-consciously know that it has happened.” [1] Raymond Houghton, To Nurture Humaneness, ASCD (curriculum arm of the NEA), 1970
Thinking for yourself is not encouraged. In fact to have an opinion is to be discouraged. This is the mindset we have allowed to grip us in such a way that this generation has become a generation of spectators while an actual minority seize power. While we are all happy with the outcome of the peacable electoral process when it is peacefull. Speaking your mind is only encouraged if it is rude, crude or imitating the lawlessness of the generation that we are living in. We are lawless because we do not adhere to the law of God, and to not confuse which God one is talking about there is only One God. The God of the Bible as revealed both the Hebrew and Christian Bible. The ten commandments were not meant to be suggestions, they are supposed to be the maxims we live by when we don’t, men like Bertrand Russell [26] and his kind can say this kind of thing in the name of freedom of speech and they can get away with it.
“I do not pretend that birth control is the only way in which population can be kept from increasing. There are others, which, one must suppose, opponents of birth control would prefer. War, as I remarked a moment ago, has hitherto been disappointing in this respect, but perhaps bacteriological war may prove more effective. If a Black Death could be spread throughout the world once in every generation survivors could procreate freely without making the world too full. There would be nothing in this to offend the consciences of the devout or to restrain the ambitions of nationalists. The state of affairs might be somewhat unpleasant, but what of that? Really high-minded people are indifferent to happiness, especially other people’s.” Bertrand Russell [26]”
There is a sea on conspiracies you can get absolutely lost in and almost never recover. There are real conspiracy theorists. I am not one of them. I seek absolute reality. To know first myself for what i am, to know God for who He is, and to know the world I live in, my goal is my ultimate and future happiness that does not include immediate self gratification. Unlike the Bertrand Russel quote here, I cannot be indifferent to the state of my own self or of the happiness of others. Maybe its good to just have a look at this. If the greatest command is “ Deutoronomy 6:4 puts it this way. The LORD our God, the LORD is one. [a] 5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
This then is happiness to be content with your highest good which is God. To not be content with God and to create an idol of your own self ( which is the common practice in this world) Is then the greatest sin and sin has one consequence. Since if you follow my logic, if to Love God with all your heart and mind brings the highest happiness, to not do so brings the greatest calamity since to break the commandment brings forth nothing but death, because the very source of life which is God, is shunned.
Romans 6:18 makes this much plain………The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
21For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
Because mankind in this generation has hated knowledge of the true nature of God, God has given them up to their own thinking, And this also is plain, Man using himself as a point of reference wanders off and worships himself. We make idols out of entertainers and superhereos of politicians who in essence can do no more than they are allowed to do by the system they govern under. Socialists will not violate their own doctrine of self worship and in this they are better than many who profess a faith that is empty and as lawless as the age we live in.
To hate knowledge is and to lose yourself what passes today in the Cinema’s and television is to hate your own soul. The phrase “ for the common good” has even been used in days gone by to crucify the savior. And once again it is “if a thing is done it has to be for the common good” The individual is lost. Sadly, the ability to love is lost, love knows about discipline, and knowledge and fear of God. Love cherishes individuals and it shuns that which is evil I knows nothing about selfishness which is the sin of our age and esteems those who esteem their maker. It has been said in by gone days that “manners maketh the man” a value which seems to have bypassed most I encounter on a daily basis. We live in an age where human life is not cherished and therefore not nurtured or encouraged, in a word, loved. How would one do this in a big corporate company? Show simple courtesy I would think. Manage with the individual in mind. Do they know the aim of the task you want them to attain, what is the plan? What is the vision? I remember quite distinctly when I worked as a missionary in the rural district of Grahamstown. The elders of the church community there were about 25 of them in all) were in an uproar about something that in due time would prove irrelevant. I prayed about what I should say to them, and I got my answer. At the next meeting of elders I asked them to remove their shoes. I rolled up my sleeves and washed their feet. It was a sacred moment for me. I prayed for each one as I washed their feet. And at the end of it, i told them. You now need to do likewise for each other. I don’t think there any arguments between them for at least two weeks. The issue of servant leadership has long been a passion with me. So I serve, regardless of whether I am in charge of anything. I serve because love compels me. Not because of the modern notion of forced servitude espoused by communist ideology. ..
