The Gift of Infinite value   Leave a comment

Romans 3:21
But now athe righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— 22 the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: 23 for fall have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 gand are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God put forward as a propitiation lby his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in mhis divine forbearance he had passed over nformer sins. 26 It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

I am amazed and astounded in this Grace that has been extended to me, a sinner a sinner I consider to be of the deepest dye. I see in myself, deep heart corruptions, flippancy, undisciplined and other sins that grieve me to the the point of despair, and I have to ask. Who can save me from all this inherent depravity? Thanks be to God that through the death of Jesus Christ or Lord there is a secure and final redemption! Friends, the value of the Free Gift is beyond price, therefore the punishment of neglecting the Free Gift of God in Christ Jesus is equal to the value of the gift! Think of it! Are we sqaundering our earthly time for nothing? Or are we paying to that which is of infinite value. Oh may we never be said to be “almost christians” Let us press on in the high calling of God in Christ Jesus and not waste another day, but do all things for the glory of God, whether we live or die, whether we spend our lives in obscurity or in relative luxury. Let us not waste another day but redeem the time for the days are evil.
I praise God for the day he opened my eye to see my sin for what it is and it was a bitter thing to experience, and still I mourn daily because of the sinfull tendencies of my flesh. But God….. being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ…( Ephesians 1) Hold onto that, God is rich in mercy embrace that! Let go of the world and its things. They will pass away sooner than you think.
